Writing for Technology Products and Services
Don Wallace Writing creates copy for software vendors who need to promote their products and services.

Beyond the Hype of "Direct Response" Copy
When you mention "copywriting", most people think of direct response copy. This is the over-the-top, often emotionally laden style of writing that is used to sell consumer products on TV, in magazines, and in "long form" sales letters.
Professionals in business are looking for solutions to their problems, and for ways to create more opportunity and success in their businesses. In general, you won't reach this group with hype and exaggerated claims.
You will reach this group with well-crafted sales materials that answer their questions and stimulate their thinking.
Hard Sell or Soft Sell ... Whatever it Takes
I write copy and business communications that clearly and persuasively convey my clients' value to their prospects and to existing customers. I do whatever it takes to insert your product into your customer's decision making process.
I will generate virtually any type of B2B copy that you require. Sometimes the situation calls for an informational white paper or case study that gives the prospect some space to make up his mind. This is a "soft" sell and it helps to instill confidence and trust.
At other times, the client may be looking to you to tell him exactly why he should buy from you. To do this, I will transform dry, technical descriptions of software and product features into vibrant benefits imagery in print. I will make it my job to convince your prospects that you have the best solution for them.
"Hard" sell - direct persuasion - or "soft" sell - laying out facts, statistics, arguments, bullet lists - I will do whatever it takes to state your case to your prospect.
Providing All Natural, 100% Organic Content
I produce solid, informative copy that is used as part of an overall marketing strategy by well-run software technology companies... which generally includes organic search results as a key component.
This means that your business's web site shows up in search engines as a relevant "hit" because you provide content that is worth reading. In other words, people find you on search engines because your web site is saying something interesting and unique.
This requires no massive spending for online advertising. You simply need a copywriter who can generate this type of content, and who can base it on the needs and interests of your customer base.
Of Course, You Have Questions. And You Need Answers.
I invite you to call or write. I offer a free, no-pressure, no-BS phone consultation.
We're not going to solve all of the world's problems in a 30 minute conversation, but I will help define your unique marketing challenges and to propose a real solution.
We can then talk about your upcoming or current need in any of these areas:
- Web copy
- Press Releases
- Case Studies
- Advertising copy
- "Screencast" (video demo) scripts for voice overs
- Brochures
- White Papers
- Business and Sales Letters
- Advertorials
See the left sidebar on these pages for links to my samples. An email or a phone call doesn't commit you to anything - and I can probably help you, too.
Thank you for visiting.
